Primary Cause Of Disease According to Ayurveda Is Toxemia

The primary cause of disease according to Ayurveda is toxemia, according to the medical dictionary the definition of  toxemia

1. the condition resulting from the spread of  (toxins) by the bloodstream

These toxins accumulate because of low gastric juices (HCL, mucus, pepsin). Undigested food accumulates in the GI tract. This is unripe, uncooked, immature, or undigested food substances. Ayurveda calls it ama. This undigested food starts to ferment and putrefy in gastrointestinal tract.

  • The first symptoms  are pain and gas, bloating in the stomach area due to gas caused by fermentation of food particles.

The toxins from the stomach, small intestines and the rest of GI tract is absorbed in the circulation system and enters the heart. Fevers,

  • Low appetite and

  • sluggishness are the symptoms that are caused by toxins in the heart.

  • Once toxins are in the heart they circulate to the plasma.

  • If the plasma health is compromised by low enzyme activity the blood flow will get clogged.
  • This can cause the following symptoms:
  • watery eyes,
  • lethargic(no energy to be active),
  • low energy,
  • hair ends on head aching.

Fever happens because the body is burning off toxins. Signs and symptoms that dis-ease  is beginning in the body are the following:

  • generalized body aches,
  • increase in body temperature,
  • chills, the person becomes
  • sensitive to everything as in noises to allergies.
  • Ayurvedic science teaches that when a person does not eat according to their

  • body type,

  • season,

  • age

  • it leads to disease.

  • You can either digest the wrong foods or stressful feelings and convert them to useful energy that helps you grow and develop or you can have trouble digesting foods and stress and create ama, which tires out and depletes the nervous system and overworks the immune system, which in turn leaves the door open to illness.
